Hey there, reader! My name is Elizabeth Armitage, though I'm commonly known as Liz. I was homeschooled all my life until I graduated from high school in 2014, and I am currently enrolled in my first semester of college as of Fall 2014.

This blog is a chronicle of the little insights, interesting thoughts, and random musings I encounter as a Christian, formerly homeschooled, college-going young woman who is taking her first steps into the "real world-" the world of adulthood. The name "Shortly Sweet" comes from who I am- my stature coming to only 5' and my personality catering to the latter term, the title suits my blog perfectly.
